Annual performance evaluations are essential to employee development. By accurately assessing an employee’s performance you will set clear goals and expectations for the upcoming year. This course will discuss the benefits and challenges of performance evaluations. You will discover what metrics should be used to identify areas of improvement and for highlighting achievements. You will also learn how to use the standard performance guidelines to effectively and fairly rate vs exaggerate. You will leave with coaching techniques for writing and delivering effective feedback to correct problematic behaviors, acknowledge improvements and recognize exemplary performance. This two (2) hour course is mandatory for all supervisors and managers.
